The beaches of Bude, Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay
The location of Eastcott Lodges on the North Cornwall / North Devon borders is an ideal base from which to explore the region. The coastline here is spectacular and the choice of beaches is enormous, from rocky coves with soaring cliffs to wide expanses of golden sand. There are many historic and picturesque coastal villages to discover, such as Clovelly, Boscastle and Tintagel.
Within easy reach of the lodges are a wide variety of recreational amenities and outdoor activities including water-sports, horse riding, golf and fishing. There are theme parks for children of all ages to enjoy, plus historic houses, castles, museums and gardens to visit. The nearby resort of Bude has both a tidal sea-water swimming pool and a modern indoor leisure pool. You may choose to walk the South West Coast Path and admire the dramatically beautiful scenery or head inland and explore Bodmin Moor or Dartmoor with their many attractions including a wealth of prehistoric sites and fascinating geology.
